thepandamonium: This is Basi. She is the worlds oldest known panda. Unfortunately the average lifespan of a panda is 12 years of age. Basi has made it to 30 years old! which is the equivalent to a 120 human years. This beautiful creature is as friendly as can be but sadly currently dealing with health issues. Basi knows how to walk upright, shoot hoops, lift weights, shake hands and has even went on tour to the United States San Diego Zoo for a 6 month visit. Recently she has survived a coma and now spends her “panda retirement” sitting against trees eating bamboo. Let’s tip our hat to the oldest known panda and all she has accomplished in her 30 years on earth. She has traveled, made friends and captured the hearts of everyone around her. so amazing!
